County Services Planning Survey

Survey Objectives

The Palm Beach County Services Planning Survey is designed to provide a tool to enhance the County’s knowledge of residents’ opinions regarding County services and to better understand community priorities and expectations regarding County services. The 2008 survey results will be just one of the many sources of information used by the Board of County Commissioners to develop the FY 2009 budget.

The survey addresses the following areas:

o General feelings about the direction in which the County is headed;
o Attitudes toward quality of life in Palm Beach County;
o Value received for tax dollars;
o Opinions regarding amount of taxes and levels of service provided.

The survey is part of a larger process that includes public forums, public hearings, and Commissioners’ input.
